1. The service

OctoNote provides note-taking, PDF reading, handwriting, recording, translation, optional cloud storage, and AI-assisted learning features. Feature availability may vary by device, operating system, plan, region, and release version.

2. AI assistance

AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. OctoNote is a study aid, not a substitute for qualified academic, medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Verify important results and maintain your own source material.

3. Accounts and content

You are responsible for activity under your account and for having the rights to material you import, record, upload, or process. Do not use OctoNote to infringe rights, process unlawful content, evade quotas, attack services, or interfere with other users.

4. Subscriptions and point packs

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store account. Prices, taxes, trial eligibility, billing periods, and refund handling are governed by the App Store terms shown at purchase. Point packs are consumed by eligible AI operations and are not transferable.

5. Availability

We may modify features, models, limits, or supported platforms to improve safety, reliability, or sustainability. We aim to preserve access to your local notes when online services are unavailable.

6. Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of AI responses. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
